I was invited by photographer Carlos Teixeira to create a job with photography that dialogues with their work Grafts. His works are piercing iron inserts living trees, was initially developed in the gardens of his home and then transformed in closed models that generated fungi as a natural response to the first intervention.
The photograph entered this process as a time machine that could layered images represent this research on rejection, incorporation and growth of living beings with the mystery of creation and its relationship with inanimate objects. The graft in me is humanity in the midst of the infinite, the monkey turned into artist in the palace of the arts, turning the mating fungus in our concrete shells and television, the tile male crumbling see the female, this one saved in any cotton paper to be opened sometime in the common vision of the last man.
